The TorMog Centre meets on the first Thursday evening of each month. (We call the meeting a ‘Noggin’) The venue for the meeting is:-

Anyone with an interest in Morgan cars is welcome to come along but please let the secretary know if you are not a member of MSCC

  • Mid Month Lunch – 17 June – the “Grouse Inn Froggatt Edge” arriving at 12 noon.  Organised by Brian Lee leebjm@icloud.com – 07710 238277 (Note from Brian -As there are several Grouse Inns in our locality please Google the words between the inverted commas for details, including its location. It is set in open moorland with ample parking and there is a varied and reasonably priced menu. The postcode is S11 7TZ and it is on the A625. I have agreed with the pub to give them a heads up on numbers closer to the time and will remind you to let me know then if you are able to attend. For now, however, all you need to do is diary the date.

  • 5 July – Invitation as a club to attend Baslow Classic Car Show, from 12:00. Feel free to share with other Classic Car owners. Contact details: Joe Anwyl, 07875 385 803.

  • 6 August – Monthly noggin – The Crispin, Great Longstone

  • 14 – 16 August – Car Club Fest , Three Counties Showground, Malvern– Morgans will have a paddock.  This event will replace Mogfest in coming years.

  • 16 August – Peter Farley’s Teddy Bear Picnic in the Forest. The aim is to have 90 cars to celebrate Peter’s 90th birthday and raise £900 for NW Air ambulance.

  • 4 September – 6 September Chatsworth Country Fair no invitation received or details yet just a marker in the calendar

  • 7 September (Monday) – FolkMog track day at Snetterton, 10th Anniversary, allocation of a first come first served basis.

  • 3 October – Edinburgh Trial -Volunteers required to marshal at the Edinburgh Trial, held in The Peak District, mostly in Derbyshire. This is one of three trials organised by the Motor Cycling Club, which has been in existence since 1901. The other two trials are the Lands End and the Exeter. You can read about the Exeter Trial in the March 2026 issue of Miscellany. Contact Brian Lee on leebjm@icloud.com or 07710 238277 if you are willing to marshal the event. This is not an MSCC event.
